Dr. Loriana Novoa is an independent consultant and coach specializing in professionals, families, and organizations. She combines extensive experience and skills related to education, healthcare, family wealth issues and leadership development.  Her experience includes working with leaders, executives and families and a broad knowledge in issues related to culture, diversity, and integration.   In 1993, Loriana founded Axis Behavioral Health, a multi-disciplinary behavioral health group, currently providing adult day care services and continues to serve as its Director.

Loriana has worked in both public and private organizations providing executive assessment and coaching, team-building, and educational and organizational consulting.  In addition, she has coached families in issues related to parenting, career orientation and direction of college-age children, and family wealth dynamics and education.  Her clientele also includes highly successful professional women addressing work-home balance concerns. 

Loriana’s doctorate is from Harvard University in Human Development and Psychology, where she specialized in the developmental and neuropsychological basis of language and learning.  Loriana has been a teaching fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and faculty at Florida International University.  She received advanced training at the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Departments of Neurology and Neuropsychological Sciences and at the Mailman Center for Child Development, Genetics Division.  Her publications have been in the areas of the neuropsychology of talent and bilingualism.  She has also received advanced training in coaching and consulting at the College of Executive Coaching and has extensive training and experience in all types of diagnostic testing and assessment.

She is the founder and owner of Novoa-NP Consulting and is currently the President of the ICF (International Coaching Federation) South Florida Charter Chapter  Most importantly, she is the mother of 5 children between the ages of 17 and 22.
