Locals Only!: Healing Burnout and Cultivating Resilience through Nervous System Regulation
Stress and burnout have become so prevalent in so many areas of our lives, personal and professional. Are stress and burnout one in the same? Not quite. Stress if not addressed and managed in a healthy way can lead to burnout. Burnout is the accumulation of unchecked and built up stress over a period of time. Think of burnout as the larger, meaner, older sibling of stress. It requires stress to exist, but you can experience stress without being burnt out. So how do you know the difference? During this presentation, we will discuss the foundations of stress, our stress response and symptoms of burnout. We will acknowledge that stress is a normal part of life and we get to choose how we respond to it. We will also learn about nervous system regulation and how we can use practical exercises to regulate our nervous system, reduce stress and re-establish the mind and body connection.
Join us for an informative session on strategies for burnout recovery and nervous system regulation. You will leave this session with:
