About this event

Ethics and Professionalism in Coaching

Coaching is absolutely a professional industry. And ethics is certainly at the heart of it's foundation. But what does that look like for each of us and how can it make us better coaches to our clients? How does our 'being' as a coach inform our 'doing' of coaching. As coaches, we benefit from understanding ourselves and the roots for our beliefs, standards, and values.

Earn 1.5 Core Competency CCEUs

In this interactive presentation, coaches will learn about the neuroscience of ethics, discuss the factors to consider in order to make ethical decisions, and gain insight to better handle ethical dilemmas. Coaches will also explore the concept of the psychological relationships we have in our coaching engagements and how they too inform both the being and the doing of professional coaching. This session will also highlight how these concepts are intertwined within the ICF Core Competencies.
