In these live, interactive group workshops, we explore the ways in which our ancestry, our families, and our past shape our present experience, as well as influence our notions of what’s possible for the future.

Understanding that all future expectations are based on the past, we imagine what might be possible if we can take from the past what strengthens us while leaving behind that which hinders our growth.

This workshop is an experiential primer in Systemic Family Constellation work. As both a philosophy and a process, this modality offers a systemic lens through which to understand both intergenerational trauma and intergenerational fortitude.

Systemic Family Constellations is based on the principle that both our challenges and our strengths have a lineage. In this work, we aim to support clients in leaving behind that which hinders their growth while taking with them that which supports it. 

As coaches, understanding Systemic Family Constellations supports us in establishing ethical and balanced relationships with clients, identifying barriers to growth, and cultivating trust and safety with those whom we serve. 

By the end of this workshop, coaches will be able to:

• Identify the basic tenets of Systemic Family Constellation Philosophy and how this knowledge supports coaches in embodying the 8 ICF Core Competencies

• Understand the ways in which coaches may inadvertently recreate the parent/child relationship with clients 

• Understand methods for cultivating balanced relationships with clients that facilitate client growth. 

• Use the Systemic Family Constellation lens to cultivate trust and safety in coaching relationships with clients.
