Join us with Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, MCC in MasterClass by Master Coaches for a powerful demonstration of Masterful Coaching, guided by the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) core competencies. This immersive experience is crafted to reveal the art and science behind masterful coaching, helping you elevate your practice to new heights.
A Coaching Demo with a brief introduction of the ICF competencies to focus on in the conversation - Establishing the Agreement, Coaching Presence, and Evoking Awareness.
Learning Objecives:
- 3 - Establishes & maintains agreements – explore the link between agreeing on a desired outcome and how critical this is to sparking creative insights that lead to change.
- 4 - Cultivates trust and safety – identify critical approaches, mentally and verbally, for the coach to create a psychologically safe interaction that cultivates trust.
- 5 - Maintains presence – tips for noticing when presence is disrupted and how to return to coaching presence.
- 6 - Listens actively – look at what the coach is listening for that could lead to creative insights, and how to use both reflective statements and questions based on what the client offers to move the conversation forward.
- 7 - Evokes awareness – discuss how to coach the client to clearly articulate both small and big insightful moments to they provide direction for significant changes and actions.

About the Speaker: Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, MCC
Dr. Marcia Reynolds, MCC, is a behavioral scientist who has spent 40 years researching how conversations can deepen connections that both unify us and open our minds to learning. She has delivered programs in 47 countries and teaches leaders to use coaching skills in organizations and government agencies.
As a pioneer in coaching, she was the 5th global president of the International Coaching Federation, is recognized in the ICF Circle of Distinction and recently was awarded an ICF Impact Award for her work in creating a successful coaching culture with AEON Vietnam. Global Gurus places her in the top 5 coaches in the world.
Excerpts from her 5 books including her international bestseller, Coach the Person, Not the Problem, have appeared in major publications around the world.
Her education includes a doctorate in Organizational Psychology and two master’s degrees in Communication and Adult Learning/ Instructional Design.
