Meet Eileen LopezT 2021
Meet Our ICF South Florida Member
Coach of the Month:
Eileen López Tomé
Eileen is a member of our Programing Committee.
Eileen López Tomé is a 22-year public servant with the federal government who also serves as a leadership development and transitions coach. She is a chief operations officer, a wife and mother of five, and a breast cancer survivor, bringing a wealth of practical knowledge and life experience to her coaching work. In 2017, while undergoing cancer treatment, she attended an impactful visioning workshop led by a coach that helped her embrace fear and transform it into hope for the future. Coaching saved her as much as modern medicine did and she felt called to pay it forward, becoming a coach herself. Eileen graduated from the iPEC Coaching program in 2018. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign and serves as a coach to a select number of cancer survivors, pro-bono.
Eileen is a proud member of the ICF, its South Florida Chapter (ICFSFL), and the ICFSFL Programming Committee and enjoys connecting with other coaches in her community. She’s currently working towards her ACC certification. She also belongs to the U.S. Treasury Executive Institute’s (TEI) Coach Cadre and the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service’s Coaching to Lead program.
Eileen lives in South Florida with her husband, Vicente, and the youngest of their five kids. She recently became the organizer of her local running group, USAFIT Miami, and together with friends and neighbors is training for the Miami Marathon and Half Marathon in February 2022. She established her private coaching practice, ELT Coaching: Embracing Life Transitions in 2018. When Eileen isn’t working, coaching, being a mom, and running, she likes to read and try new recipes. You can find out more about her at
www.eileenlopeztome.com.
Congratulations Eileen!
