About the Speaker: Chris Delboni Award-winning Brazilian journalist Chris Delboni, communications and life coach, had been a foreign correspondent in Washington, D.C., since 1993 before moving to Miami, where she taught journalism at the University of Miami and Florida International University. At FIU, she was the first news director for the South Florida News Service, serving local mainstream newspapers, such as the Miami Herald. Chris currently teaches broadcast journalism. Among other projects and programs, Delboni holds workshops on media training, interviews and mobile video training. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) b and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through iPEC – Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She also publishes “Direto de Miami”, a blog that features Brazilians in South Florida. Delboni has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism from American University in Washington, D.C.
