Dr. H Nathan Charles is CEO of The Lancaster Coaching Institute, LLC. He’s an experienced Certified Executive & Leadership Coach who is deeply committed to building workplaces that highlight the values of human dignity, diversity, inclusivity, equity, and productivity. He brings about transformation by using frameworks that emphasize the importance of a person’s core values, belief systems, and their ultimate goals. He helps his clients achieve clarity on how to get from where they are currently, to where they need to be to be successful. Dr. Charles’ coaching practice includes working with under-represented minorities, assisting them in identifying, developing, and leveraging who they are, for sustainable personal and professional success.
Dr. Charles is a huge proponent of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and he assesses and helps organizations and individuals understand, develop, and effectively utilize these critical skills.
Dr. Charles has held executive and senior-level Human Resources and Organizational Development leadership positions at Fortune 500 corporations. He has provided executive coaching, consultations, and delivered leadership development workshops/seminars to corporations in a variety of industries in the US and abroad. In addition to his many accomplishments, Dr. Charles is a highly regarded academician. He has taught at several major universities and is the recipient of several teaching awards.
Dr. Charles’ rich and diverse educational background includes a BA in Psychology from McMaster University, Canada; an MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Divinity School, Illinois; an MS in Organizational Behavior andHuman Resources from The Daniels School of Business, Purdue University, Indiana; and a Ph.D. in Counseling from Purdue University, Indiana.
Dr. Charles’ numerous professional certifications include Certified Executive Coach (CEC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC-ICF), Senior Practitioner Level Coach (SP-EMCC), Certified Mentor Coach (CMC), Certified Positive Intelligence Coach (CPQC), and Certified Genos Emotional Intelligence Practitioner.
